AUTOMATED INFORMATION SYSTEM IN ANIMAL HUSBANDRY AS THE BASIS FOR THE SELECTION PROCESS WITH THE BREED

Abstract

In the article we can see the main approaches to the creation in Ukraine automated information system breeding animal that meets international standards and will help form the basis of animals kept in controlled farms; to evaluate them on a number of grounds, to form a unified classification system for animals and to provide information for users of different levels. The offered structure of the information system of breeding in livestock breeding in Ukraine and the composition of its software is provided. It is envisaged that the automated system will include information resource, software and hardware complex and telecommunication network with corresponding functions. Developed automated information system in animal breeding, which will contribute to the genetic security of the country, the livestock industry competitiveness, preserve biodiversity and improve the genetic potential of species to international standards.
