Article Processing Charges (APC)

The Journal of Scientific Progress & Innovations is an open access publication. The editorial team does not receive any profit from the sale of content, therefore, an Article Processing Charge (APC) has been established to cover the costs of the publishing cycle.
Publication of articles in the scientific journal is funded by the authors. The APC covers the costs of the publication process (text formatting, layout of figures and tables, proofreading, typesetting, translation of foreign authors' metadata into Ukrainian, etc.), including the administration of the review process, publication on the journal website, permanent archiving of articles, website administration (technical maintenance and support), general administration, assignment of a Digital Object Identifier (DOI) and promotion of the journal and articles (sharing journal content worldwide, maintaining indexing databases and promoting the journal to the research community).

THE PUBLICATION FEE IS 1000 UAH (for up to 20 pages inclusive). If the volume of the article exceeds this number, then each subsequent page is paid additionally in the amount of 50 UAH.

Payment shall be made using the bank details sent to the corresponding author after: receiving a positive decision from the reviewers and accepting the article for publication, the final approval of the publication text and full processing of the manuscript.

No fees are charged at the manuscript submission stage!

At the author's request, a printed copy of the journal can be ordered. The cost of a printed copy is
500 UAH, which must be paid in addition to the publication fee.

WAIVER OF ARTICLE PROCESSING CHARGES FOR THIRD-CYCLE HIGHER EDUCATION STUDENTS
This provision is intended to support early-career researchers who publish independently without co-authors.

The journal supports the professional development of early-career researchers. The editorial board accepts for free publication individual articles (without co-authors) by third-level higher education students enrolled in state-funded programmes (regardless of the higher education institution), provided that the articles comply with the established requirements and principles of academic integrity.
Along with the article, third-level higher education applicants (postgraduate students) enrolled in state-funded programmes must submit a certificate from the postgraduate department confirming their enrolment in a state-funded programme. The certificate must be certified by the signature of the head of the postgraduate department and the seal.
